Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi
On arrival by morning flight, our guests will be met and transferred to Tamarind Tree Hotel, where they will rest until lunchtime and then go to the Carnivore Restaurant for lunch. After lunch, they will be back at the hotel, where they will relax until later in the evening. Here, the guests are booked on a bed and breakfast.
Day 2
Masai Mara Safari
The guests will have breakfast, and then transfer to the Wilson Airport, where they will catch a plane and fly to Maasai Mara, arriving before lunchtime. On landing at Mara Serena Airfield, the guests will be picked up by our company guide, who will drive them with a game en route to Mara Engai Lodge. The lodge is on an Escarpment overlooking the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
After check-in, guests will be served lunch and relax in their tent until 1600hrs. The guests are driven to the car park where their guide will meet them and start their afternoon safari in the reserve. The reserve is famous for her black or gold maned lions as well the abundance of her many different species of wildlife ranging from big cats to antelopes elephant rhinos cheetahs to name but a few. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Guests are on a Full-board basis.
Day 3
Exploring the Masai Mara
Guests will have an early morning breakfast and, after, depart for a full-day safari with picnic lunch boxes. In this case, guests will have an opportunity to discover Maasai Mara and visit both sides of the reserve, namely the Mara Triangle and the Greater Mara. If it's during the annual migration, our guests won't have enough of the safari because of the great experience. Visit the famous Mara River, which is infested with very big reptiles, the Nile crocodiles, and hippos, hence making the river crossing by the wildebeasts and zebras hard although very much possible. Return to the lodge in the evening so that you have a chance to select the best photo shots you managed to take. Dinner and overnight are at the lodge.
Day 4
Fly to Diani Beach
The guests will have an early morning game drive and after, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, have an early lunch and thereafter be transferred to Mara Serena Airfield for your flight to Diani Beach. On landing, our transfer driver will be at hand to The Maji Boutique Hotel. After check-in, guests will relax until dinner time. Overnight at this great hotel.
Day 5
Leisure at the Beach
Indulge in a full day of beachside relaxation. Stroll along the pristine sands, take a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters, or unwind at the hotel’s pool and spa
Day 6
Marine Park or Beach Leisure
The guests will have the option of visiting the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park or just simply enjoying the hotel facilities. Being the last night, the guests will pack their luggage and later relax, awaiting the following day to be transferred to Moi International Airport for the guests to catch their flight to the next destination.
Day 7
Departure
Your unforgettable Kenyan adventure concludes with a transfer to Moi International Airport in Mombasa for your onward journey.
