Itineraries
Day 1
Airport Pickup and head to Amboseli national Park
uests will be picked from JKIA and drive southwards to Amboseli National Park. They will arrive at Amboseli Serena Lodge at around 1230hrs. Check in and have lunch.
After lunch, guests will have a rest until 1600hrs and start their game drive in the park. This is a small park but well known for her wildlife. It's a park that has very big herds of elephants, prides of lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and zebras, to name but a few. Recently, the park has been a home of pink flamingos, which makes it even more attractive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay booked on full board.
Day 2
A day spent in Amboseli
Guests will choose either to have an early morning safari in the park before breakfast or have breakfast and then embark on a long game drive that will last up to mid day. Lunch is served at the lodge and relax.
At 1600hrs, drive out in the park to look for the great herds of elephants going out of the park to the higher grounds of Mt Kilimanjaro. The movement in the morning or evening is amazing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight booked on fullboard.
Day 3
Departure for Salt Lick in Taita Hills Sanctuary
After breakfast, guests will check out of the lodge and depart for Saltlick in Taita Hills Sanctuary. This is also a great private park, which is known for the lodge architectural design and the many giant elephants coming to the waterhole for a drink. Check-in and lunch are always done at the Taita Hills Lodge and after driven to the Salt Lick Lodge where guests sleep.
At 1600hrs, discover the beauty of this place where you may spot the endangered stripped hyena. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Departure for Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, guests will check out and drive to Tsavo East National Park, which is about 45km away. Check in at the gate and then embark on a game drive arriving at Ashnil Aruba Lodge on time for lunch. After check-in and lunch, relax until 1600hrs and drive out in search of lions, leopards, and cheetahs to name but a few without forgetting the birds for bird lovers. Day 5
A day in Tsavo East
Guests will have an early breakfast and embark on an extensive game in this vast park visiting different places like the Galana River as well as Mudanda Rock for the history behind it. Have your picnic lunch at Mudanda weather permitting. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 6
Checkout and Departure for Voi Railway Station
Guests will have an early breakfast and then check out and head to the Voi Railway station to catch their train for Nairobi
On reaching Nairobi in the afternoon, guests will be met by our rep and transferred to Crown Plaza Hotel, which is within the airport so as to freshen up before their flight to the next destination.
