Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Nairobi's JKIA
The guests will land in Nairobi's JKIA in the morning and be transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel to have a rest after the long flight. They will be booked on half-board.
Day 2
A Day at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp
Guests will have an early breakfast and after departing for Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp, where they will arrive slightly before lunch. The camp is on the lower slopes of Mt Kenya, and with clear weather, guests can enjoy this great second higher peak in Africa. Check in and thereafter enjoy hour lunch. After lunch, guests will relax a bit before departing for an afternoon safari in this great conservancy at 1600hrs. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay booked on a fullboard basis.
Day 3
Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp
After an early morning breakfast, guests will depart for a half day safari with a possibility of visiting the chimpanzees and the two remaining northern white rhinos. This is a Conservancy that the Big Five animals are found,namely Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, as well as the Buffaloes. Return to the camp for warm meals. After lunch, guests from the comfort of their tents can still enjoy the many animals coming to the camp's waterhole. The view is unforgettable.
At 1600hrs, depart for your afternoon safari in search of the predators you may not have come across like the African hunting dogs. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Departure for Elementeita Serena Tented Camp in Soysambu Conservancy.
After breakfast, guests will depart and head to Elementeita Serena Tented Camp in Soysambu Conservancy.
This is where Lake Elementeita is and which is flocked by flamingos after Lake Nakuru water levels increased, hence making the alkalinity nature change. Arrive here on time for lunch. Check in and have lunch. After lunch, guests will relax until 1600hrs, and then they will depart for safari in the conservancy all the way to the shores of the lake for a view of the flamingos.
Day 5
Guests will have an early breakfast and depart for Mara Serena Safari Lodge in the Mara Triangle
Guests will have an early breakfast and depart for Mara Serena Safari Lodge in the Mara Triangle. The guests will have their bush lunch en-route before the lodge. Arrival at the lodge will be in the late afternoon. Check in and relax booked on fullboard.
Day 6
Mara Serena Safari Lodge
Guests will have an early morning safari in the reserve before breakfast in search of the world famous predators, the lions ,leopards, and cheetahs that may be in a hunting spree or mission. Return to the lodge foe breakfast. After breakfast, guests will relax, enjoying the spectacular view of the reserve. Optional: The guests may have a half day safari after breakfast returning to the lodge for lunch. The guide on the ground will guide the guests on the best way to help guests enjoy the day.
Day 7
Departure for Amboseli
The guests will have another early morning safari before breakfast. After breakfast, guests will pack their luggage and prepare to depart and fly to Amboseli National Park. Timings may vary for the flight.
On arrival in Amboseli National Park, guests will be transferred to the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. They will check in and relax. Guests are booked on a full board basis.
Day 8
A day in Amboseli
Guests will have an early morning safari so that they may see the beautiful sunrise and the glittering snow of Mt Kilimanjaro. The gentle giants, the elephants of Amboseli, would make the guests capture great shots when it's still calm and the mountain very clear (weather permitting). Drive back to the lodge full breakfast and relax.
At 1600hrs, guests will have another safari in the park this time to visit the observation hill so that they can take nice pictures of the sunset. This depicts the African sunset and beautiful landscape. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 9
Departure for Tsavo West
Guests will have an early breakfast and, after departing to Tsavo West National Park, arriving at the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge slightly before lunch. The waterhole at the lodge attracts so many animals that guests could easily say , will stay without going to safari. At 1600hrs, guests will depart for safari in search of leopards. This is one of the best parks to see this beautiful cat. The park has a beautiful landscape made up of old lava dating back to thousands of years. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10
Departure for Nairobi
Guests will have their breakfast and after depart for Nairobi by train arriving at Four Points by SHERATON Hotel at 1430hrs. Check in and have and have overnight booked on bed and breakfast I awaiting your flight time to your next destination or home.
